In 2023, the Center for Research and Reform in Education at John Hopkins University assessed the efficacy of PowerSchool Attendance Intervention in schools within the Seaford School District (SSD) in Sussex County, Delaware. Key takeaways from the study:

Elementary students in treatment schools attended, on average, approximately two more days of school compared to their comparison schools. A treatment school experienced particularly noteworthy improvements in attendance rates, surpassing all other Seaford elementary schools.

Chronic absenteeism rates notably decreased in treatment schools. The study also highlighted the positive impact of PowerSchool. Attendance Intervention on enhancing communications between schools and parents particularly among English Language Learner families.
