Staff Spotlight: Brendan Stone

I've been in the Customer Success, Sales and Tech fields for over 15 years now leading teams, optimizing operations, and driving client retention within SaaS and customer-focused environments, including a wide range of roles, most notably at Reviver, Smart Noise, 99designs, and Apple. I also owned and managed my own retail business prior to the pandemic in the Music Industry. I pride myself on leading with empathy and clarity, I'm passionate about communication, connectivity, team growth and development, improving support processes, and building scalable systems that enhance not only the user journey but our experience internally daily as well.
What do you like to do in your free time?:
I love to spend time with my partner Tessa and our two children. I also write, record and perform music with my band Blue Oaks, collect antiques and vinyl records and enjoy going to live music concerts when I'm able to.
What sparked your interest about working for CITE?:
Being a part of something bigger than myself is something I've always wanted in my career, and growing up with a Mom who was a teacher and being in and out of her classrooms, working in a role that is associated in this way is a full circle thing for me. Having two children now of my own, one of which just started grade school, this is even closer to home and with ever evolving technology landscape the work CITE is doing is so important.
What excites you most about your new role here at CITE?:
The opportunity to work with such great people who are putting in amazing work. The chance to grow and learn, support my team, collaborate to improve processes and put in work that will impact others in a positive way.
What’s one thing people might be surprised to learn about you?:
That I opened and operated my own award winning Guitar Store here in Sacramento, CA.
Are there any special shoutouts you’d like to give to someone in your life or the CITE Community who has made a special impact on you?:
My daughter Everly and my son Lennon for being the most soulful and genuine little humans I could ever imagine.
