Description: Are you truly prepared for a disaster? Join us to find out as we conduct a real-world disaster scenario tabletop exercise that will help you and your team better prepare for a real disaster. You will also learn how to use our free Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP) resources, including a DRP template, checklist and guide, each of which were developed by education technology leaders like yourselves in California. The DRP template has become an invaluable resource in helping school districts create their own living, breathing DRP plan. Given the mind-blowing amount of ransomware and natural disasters we are experiencing across the nation, this may be the most important session you'll attend this year. This session will also introduce you to Business Continuity Plans (BCP), how they relate to Disaster Recovery Plans, and what key stakeholders you'll need to work with in your organization to create a plan using the free BCP template.
