Degree in interdisciplinary studies from UC Berkeley, a teaching credential from the University of San Diego, and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Cal State San Marcos. Stephanie began her career as a teacher in the Solana Beach School District. Transitioning to administrative work, she became an Assistant Principal at El Camino Creek and Principal at Flora Vista Elementary School in the Encinitas Union School District. As part of leading the San Marcos Unified School District in addressing technology needs, Stephanie has worked diligently to foster a culture of customer service and teamwork. During her tenure in this role, the district has transitioned from a limited number of Chromebook carts in select classrooms to a comprehensive take-home 1:1 device program. She was honored as the 2020 San Diego Business Journal’s “Top Tech Awards” Educational Honoree. When Stephanie isn't spending time with her family, you’ll find her traveling, cooking, and enjoying good food.

"10 1/2 years."

How long have you been a CITE member? What is your favorite memory from a CITE event?

"I have been a member for at least nine years. I am the past regional Chair for San Diego, and I graduated from the CTO Mentor Program in November of 2024."
