The CTO Mentor Program (CTOM) 2026 Application Open
Event Details
The CTO Mentor Program (CTOM) applications for the 2027 Cohort is open May 25, 2026 – Sep 1, 2026. Aspiring or current CTOs are encouraged to apply.
The CITE Certified CTO Mentor Program produces qualified California school district CTOs. The program raises the bar for technology leaders and creates a community of support through mentorship and collaboration. The program also seeks to inform Superintendents and District Leaders of the importance of a cabinet level CTO position.
CTOM is produced by CITE and supported by the California Department of Education (CDE), the Fiscal Crisis and Management Assistance Team (FCMAT), and California County Superintendents.
Both the application and nomination will be due by September 1st
The CTO Mentor program requires an application and nomination, which will determine placement for a limited number of spots. To support a complete and compelling application we encourage you to attend the CTO Mentor Application Support Webinar on June 10 from Noon-1pm.
