Reina Bejerano

Reina is currently the Chief Technology Officer for the Oxnard Union High School District. She began her journey with Oxnard Union in 2016. In this role, Reina oversees technology for 13 high school campuses as well as the district office. In her position as CTO, Reina oversees Network and Systems infrastructure, physical and virtual security, school safety, data management, state reporting including CALPADS, Social Media, Web and Multimedia, Communications, Educational Technology, and Professional Development focused on these areas.

Before Reina joined Oxnard Union, she has served as a Dean, Instructional Technology Coordinator, and Teacher on Special Assignment for Technology. Reina began her career in Education in 1999 as an elementary and middle school teacher where she taught for 10 years. Reina taught all subject areas from Kindergarten through Eighth grade.

Reina has been a part of the CITE community for the last 15 years and graduated from the CCTO program in 2018. This her fourth year as the Chair for the Ventura County Gold Coast CITE Regional group and she is eager to continue building capacity with members in the Regional Group setting in order to help support our IT Professionals across Ventura County.

In her free time, Reina enjoys spending time with her adult daughter and her fur babies and going to Disneyland, concerts, museums, and traveling. She is also an avid crafter and enjoys photography.
