Chris Osborne

I am a technology professional with 15+ years of experience in K-12 education. Delivering user-centric technology solutions to students, educators, and support staff while maintaining the security, integrity, and availability of the data that supports the business of K-12 education is what has kept me energized over the course of that career.

I joined Sutter County Superintendent of Schools as the Director of Technology Services in the summer of 2021. In addition to providing technical support to students and staff at multiple school and office sites, the technology team at SCSOS ensures accurate and timely submission of student data for state reporting, serves as the contact and facilitator for a county-wide ERP system and maintains a stable and secure network node for Sutter County schools to connect to the K12HSN.

I serve as the facilitator for technology contacts at Sutter County Local Education Agencies to stay current on K-12 trends in data reporting, security, and other technology. This group is valuable to some of our LEAs that do not have the resources to dedicate to the evolving needs of technology in education today.

Before coming to SCSOS, I worked as the Network Specialist for Yuba City Unified School district for 10+ years, helping to develop modern networks and systems to empower students to learn in new and innovative ways from teachers that were supported in their technology needs.
