Iancarlo Morales was born and raised in Granada, Nicaragua, and immigrated to the United States in 1989 at 14. Alongside his mother, a single parent who worked tirelessly at three jobs while undocumented, Iancarlo quickly learned the value of hard work and perseverance. By age 15, he began working at a local grocery store to help support their household.

He graduated from high school in 1992 and took college courses while continuing to prioritize work to assist his mother. In 2002, Iancarlo joined Santa Clara Unified School District, where he has grown personally and professionally. With more than two decades of service, he currently holds the position of Lead Support Technician in the Technology Services department. His role involves leading support operations, solving technical challenges, and providing essential services to staff and students across the district.

A proud husband of 30 years and father to three grown children, Iancarlo attributes much of his success to the support of strong mentors and a community of dedicated colleagues. Now, with a solid foundation and a wealth of experience, he is exploring the next chapter in his professional journey—seeking new challenges and opportunities for impact, as one of his mentors once encouraged: “Always be in search of your next gig.”
