Professional Bio

Threasa Hernandez has recently joined the amazing team at CITE as an Event Manager. Her expertise lies in coordinating with various stakeholders, including speakers, hotel partners, and both external and internal parties, ensuring seamless execution and successful conferences. She began her career in the hotel industry and worked in the sales and event offices for 9 years. She transitioned to the California Nonprofit Association arena as an Event Manager at League of California Cities. In this role, she handled logistics for various department conferences, the board of directors’ meetings, and led the team during the planning of their annual conference. After spending 5 years at Cal Cities, Threasa moved to Head Start California Association and worked as their Director of Member Learning and Events. In this role, she worked on programming and conference logistics for their 3 signature events. Additionally, she assisted with the association’s partner program and sponsorships. She possesses a deep familiarity with membership associations and their unique intricacies.

Throughout my career, I have consistently demonstrated my dedication to delivering quality events, equipped with the skills needed to manage and execute large-scale events efficiently. I am passionate about fostering collaborative environments and ensuring that every event I manage is catered to the benefit of my membership.
