Absolutely! We believe that every person has the right to accessible education. Thus, CITE strives to ensure that our Education Programs and Academies are accessible to people with disabilities. We prioritize disability inclusion through an ongoing learning process, centered around those most impacted, and purposeful action steps. CITE agrees to offer the following accommodations to folks with disabilities, by request:

  • ASL Interpreters
  • Speech to text software
  • Screen readers
  • Extra time for travel or tasks
  • Virtual class options
  • Documents in large print
  • Alternate presentation modalities

CITE commits to these practices to ensure that our in-person, virtual, and hybrid classrooms enrich learning, promote a celebration of differences, and allows all learners to thrive. We welcome your questions and requests; please email us at education@cite.org.

On the overview page of each course, we share who the program has been designed for, including suggested years of experience or job purview. We never suggest a required level of education because we've seen people from all educational backgrounds succeed in our programs. Similarly, we welcome learners from across the state of California, from both large and small districts, urban and rural, and across demographic differences. We hope our courses match the diversity of the California K-12 IT community and the students we all serve.

For the most up-to-date information on upcoming course timing, please visit the overview page of the course you are interested in and scroll to the bottom. We plan our calendar of courses based on community interest.
