Our Committees

Committees

The purpose of CITE’s committees is to expand the resources to help with CITE’s work. Committees also create a pathway for members to become leaders of the organization and possibly be elected to serve on the Board of Directors. Committees help engage membership and create transparency for the organization’s processes. The CITE Board of Directors oversees all committees. Board members and staff members participate in various committees and task forces throughout the year. Task forces are usually a subset of a committee, created to address one or more programs that CITE has established. Requirements and membership for each committee will be different but there are several policies that apply to all committees and task forces.

All committee and task force work must be driven by CITE’s vision, mission, and core values:

Shaping the Future of Education Through Technology

To lead, develop, and support technologists and education organizations to foster student success.
