Professional Bio
Rolland Kornblau has been in Educational Technology Management for the past 23 years with a Master in Public Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems. Rolland began his educational career as a computer technician and worked his way up to Director and Chief Technology Officer (CTO). In 2008, he received a Chief Technology Officer Certification from the California Educational Technology Professionals Association (CETPA), served as a Mentor and presently sits on the CETPA Board as a Director at Large. In 2014, Rolland received his Career and Technical Education Certificate in Information and Communication Technologies in addition to participating in the Association of California School Administrators (ACSA) Innovative Technology Academy.
Rolland has served as an expert panel member for the Horizon Report and written several articles in print and online magazines, as well as holding speaking engagements with IT Summit and EdSurge, he enjoys sharing the latest technology news with his Personal Learning Network (PLN) on Twitter, Google+ and LinkedIn.
Rolland is a passionate, lifelong learner who is committed to supporting educators in the exploration of technology and tools that engage students while improving academic achievement. He leads with a “can do”, “let me show you” style enabling students and staff alike presently and well into the future
